“Texas Flavor with Cajun Attitude”

The Smokin J’s name is a tribute to my oldest brother, Joe C. Snell Jr., a.k.a. “Smokey Joe”, who was a Marine Master Gunnery Sergeant and a country music performer with ties to any famous country music stars, and has performed on stage from Nashville, Tennessee to Okinawa, Japan. Following in my brothers’ footsteps I also have spent many years as a music performer. Good music & Good food have always been my two biggest passions in life. It is my intention to use both to build this brand. Offering some good old fashioned home cooking done in the kitchen at “The Dusty Saddle Saloon” while helping Daniel and Miss Bri promote and support local musicians and offering to do catered events such as weddings and private parties is how I intend to accomplish this mission.
